The Power of Clarity Retreat

Presented by:
“Truth is the offspring of silence and meditation. I keep the subject constantly before me and wait 'til the first dawnings open slowly, by little and little, into a full and clear light." ― Isaac Newton
Why clarity?
The Coronavirus pandemic has created a prolonged envelope of uncertainty for people around the world. So many of us are facing significant changes in our professional and personal lives. There is noticeable collective strain in our efforts to return to some form of normalcy yet these on-going changes also allow us to question old ways of doing, and more importantly, of being. This retreat targets busy professionals seeking the power of clarity and presence within this climate of ambiguity; the stillness in the eye of the storm.
The words presence and mindfulness are capturing attention in the media and increasingly in organizations these days as we seek out strategies to deal with our changing world, where work and personal lives get tangled up, where there is a visceral need for connection as humans are increasingly disconnected from themselves and others.
We all wish to live rich, aligned, happy and meaningful lives, focusing on what is important to us. In this noisy environment, stillness and clarity may feel illusive and impermanent. The resulting stress and anxiety often limit our expression of our full potential by feelings of doubt, at times fear of moving into the unknown or the uncomfortable.
When seen as a cultivated practice, our felt purpose and related resistances are best understood through self-reflection, mind/body connection, with inspiring company in a beautiful, peaceful place, inspired by nature.
Blending complementary ways of developing mental clarity, senior yoga teacher and BODHI founder Bhaskar Goswami (bhaskargoswami.com) and Mindspace’s co-owner, workplace psychologist and mindfulness teacher Carl Lemieux (mindspacewellbeing.com) are delighted to offer you this carefully crafted path to increased clarity and well-being for professionals. The well researched Acceptance Commitment Training (ACT) Framework will guide our learning journey, while weaving in the ancient wisdom of Eastern philosophies and principles of embodied leadership. It includes gaining clarity about the life you choose to have and also change you are committing to make. It includes connecting with our mental models that limit our ability to step outside our comfort zones and conditioned patterns.
This retreat is an invitation to put away all distractions so you may best explore and experience the clarity that lies within you at the beautiful Tara Center in the Eastern Townships. Combining the gentle rhythm of mindful movement, experiential teachings and exercises based on cognitive and behavioral sciences, and a nourishing community, our time together in a safe space will be an opportunity to:
